Vitamin C Elixir - 2 Part

A Vitamin C Serum is widely considered to be one of the most important skin protectors and remodellers you can use. The difficulty for the natural cosmetic formulator is that Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is very unstable in aqueous solution and starts to oxidize immediately, gradually producing colour changes (an orange/brown shift) and a reduction in activity as it oxidizes.

At Bioéthique we've avoided this problem, as well as the need for potentially harmful preservatives and stabilizers, by creating a 2 part Vitamin C Elixir. Ultra-fine L-Ascorbic acid powder is mixed in the palm of your hand with the Elixir containing the synergistic ingredients Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and Ferulic Acid. C, E and Ferulic work together to protect against photoaging by building collagen, neutralizing free radicals and providing antioxidant protection. The result is brighter, firmer and younger looking skin.

Vitamin C Powder:

• L-Ascorbic Acid - fights free-radicals, increases collagen, protects skin from UV damage and improves the appearance of dark spots

Elixir:

• Aloe Vera - soothing and anti-inflammatory, aloe is also known for reducing pigmentation, slowing skin aging and reducing dry scaly patches and redness
• Biofermented Sea Kelp - collagen building, skin repairing and increases skin cell turnover 
• Ferulic Acid - restores and protects skin firmness, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and boosts the effectiveness of Vitamins C and E
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - provides protection against UV radiation and other free radicals
• Concentrated Green Tea extract - decreases skin glycation levels, delays collagen aging and improves collagen turnover
• Linoleic Acid - reduces inflammation, increases skin hydration, UV protection and and reduces the formation of sunburn cells

Mix 3 drops of the Elixir with one scoop of the ultra fine L-Ascorbic in your palm until fully dissolved. Use in the morning after cleansing and under your sun cream for added sun protection, or in the evening with your Bakuchiol Serum (but do not combine with retinols). We hope you love it! -xo
